Mariella's 1st Birthday Party

Rebecca Addie and I were in Florida to help Jessica prepare for Mariella's 1st birthday party. The party was in the back yard of Jessica and Gio's home and the weather ended up beautiful. We had so much fun making and putting everything together.  Jessica has a good friend Elizabeth who helped her by making all the labels, we went to the" Good Will" to buy plates to make two tier serving dishes and then off to the party store for tissue paper to make the tissue flowers.  Target came in handy for cute jars for the candy and of course it was fun making all the desserts and food,  I am going to post several pictures of the party so enjoy!!!

Cake Pops (We found the directions on the internet and they are hummy)

Goody bags for the children to take home.

I was so hoping for a bite

Each child came up and took a turn pulling the ribbon until the candy dropped.
Rebecca showed us how to make these dang cute flowers we used to decorate.

Thank goodness we went to Disney so we could buy the cotton candyj

Here in the above picture with Addie and Rebecca is Jessica's friend Elizabeth who
helped make the banner and labels with her "cricket"

Cute shot of Gio and Jess after the party maybe thinking of the mess that needed to be cleaned up
We were "beat" after the party and cleanup so Gio sent us all to the Salon and treated us with a pedicure.  Thank you Gio

Arlene my friend! Thanks for finding my blog, which reminded me of yours. You are definitely a super-grandma who has taught her children well. What a delight to read about all your fun. And you look incredible! I can't wait to try some of your yummy recipes too. Thanks for your friendship and influence in my life. Love you!
